However, introducing such a system at a time when many viewed online financial transactions with caution was a challenge.
Recognizing this, Shannon sensed that perhaps the world wasn’t quite ready for CORE. Instead of pushing an idea whose time hadn’t come, there emerged a new opportunity: the burgeoning realm of social networking. This shift led to the creation of Planet Alumni, a venture into the then-uncharted territory of online communities.
Among those who joined this new endeavor was Jason, a standout member from the original tech team. More than just colleagues, Jason and Shannon found shared perspectives, experiences, and a common vision for the future. Planet Alumni became a space where they could learn, understand the intricacies of tech businesses, and adapt.
While their journey with Planet Alumni offered invaluable insights, the aspiration for CORE remained. What initially seemed like a sidestep for Shannon now looked like a strategic move. As acceptance of technology grew and the world became more comfortable with online finance, the conditions were ripe. Shannon and Jason, enriched by their shared history, were poised to introduce CORE and lay the foundation for Actuarius.
